🔵 We had a fantastic Book Fair! We're already looking forward to our Spring Book Fair.

🔵 With the cooler weather approaching, please take time to label hoodies, jackets, coats, etc. with your child's name.

🔵 The Bald Knob Fall Festival was postponed and will now be on Saturday, Nov. 4th. Armbands will be sent home with all Elementary students this week.

🔵 We loved seeing all of the Halloween costumes last Friday. They were great! A friendly reminder that we will NOT be wearing costumes on Halloween day.

🔵 No Afterschool Program THIS Wednesday due to the monthly Staff Meeting.

Picture Retake Day is Wednesday. This paper went home on Friday. If you want your child to have their picture taken please return the bottom portion of the page. Only students with the bottom portion returned will have their picture taken.

The Bald Knob Fall Festival is on Saturday (11/4).

All Elementary students will be bringing home an armband to attend the festival for FREE!

All KID games will be FREE with the armband! This is going to be a BLAST!

Elementary PAWS Gobble Gram Sales

• Cards will be sent home at the end of this week.
• Return the cards & money during the week of Nov. 6-10.
• Gobble Grams will be delivered on Friday, Nov. 17.
• Each Gobble Gram is $1.

Gobble Grams are an excellent way for friends and family to show they are thankful for someone.

Gobble Grams are for Elementary students only.

We need 6 Million Words to reach our next goal!

Your 3rd-5th grader should be able to tell you which multiplication level they are working on. After a student feels confident in the level, they take a multiplication test. If they pass they move on to the next level. If they don't pass they should continue to practice and are allowed to test again when they are ready. Once a student passes all of their facts they will earn an ice cream sundae and be added to the Multiplication Masters Wall of Fame.

There are many multiplication websites to practice facts OR you can create flashcards.

Arkansas state standard says that by the end of 3rd grade all students should have mastery over all multiplication facts through their 12s.

3.CAR.2: Use basic fact fluency to multiply and divide whole numbers with mastery by the end of third grade.

• Knowing all products with factors up to and including 12 and the corresponding division facts from the products with factors up to and including 12.

October Book It calendars are due this week. November calendars will be sent home this week.

Be sure you are connected on Class Dojo. Not only will you be able to communicate with your child's teacher, but you will also be able to see how many Dojo points your child has earned. Each quarter we will have a Dojo Celebration. Students that have earned enough Dojo points for GREAT behavior will attend. Points start over each quarter.
