Anyone who is interested in trying out for JV or Varsity Softball should attend a pre-season meeting on today at 2:15pm in the film room.

If you have an early dismissal, this includes early dismissal for appointments, you must sign out at the attendance office, you cannot just walk out of the building. Thank you.

EMCC will be closed on Friday, February 11th due to open house. Students who normally attend EMCC should arrive to the high school for regularly scheduled classes.

Attention all basketball enthusiasts: Unified Basketball and the Youth Activation Committee are hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament and 3-point contest on March 5 at 11:00 am. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and 3-point contest winner. Please see Mr. Quinter or Mrs. Berends for registration forms.

The HF-L HS Ski Club leaves from the main entrance at 2:10 PM on the following Fridays:

Happy Wellness Week!

Today's theme is Mental Health Wellness Day.

Studies show that having good mental health can benefit you in every aspect of your life. Mental health includes social, emotional, and psychological well-being. Learning how to work productively while managing stress can improve your mood and relationships with friends and family.

Humor is a good stress buster. Enjoys today's 8 featured comedian's during the day. Fill out the "Guess the Comedian" form to be entered in a prize drawing. Drop your forms at the Counseling Center at the end of the day.

For more mental health wellness, there will be Mandela coloring at lunches today. Pick up a pack of crayons. Color a design. Post your picture on the cafeteria window for all to enjoy.

Thursday, 2/17: Physical Wellness-Microstretch breaks, Yoga videos and a healthy lunch treat.

Friday, 2/18: School and Community Wellness-Class color wars; 9-Blue, 10-Yellow, 11-Red, 12-Black, Faculty-Green.

Class competition: Bring a food item for the local food cupboard; deposit in the appropriate class box.

All week long: complete the Wellness Bingo Board. Turn into the Counseling Center by 2/18 at 12(noon) for a prize drawing-3 per grade.

Look for a Daily SMORE in Class Schoology pages and emailed home for information from the Counseling Center, Prevention Specialist and HS Librarian on each day's topic.

Graduation will be held Sunday, June 26 at 10:00 am , outside on our home turf, the HF-L James Dollard Stadium! We won't be limiting the number of family members. We will keep you updated with more information as it is available.
