Panorama Survey for Parents

The deadline to fill out the Panorama Survey has been extended to next week. We'd love for our TCE families to fill out the survey. This provides valuable input to our campus. Below is the link to access the survey. As a reminder, if you have children at different campuses, you would fill out one for each campus.

A Note From Coach Hayes - 21-Day Snacking Challenge

Last year our school was one of the top participating campuses in CISD, and we hope to do that again! The “21-Day Snacking Challenge,” is an innovative, three-week nutrition education initiative backed by participating school districts, educators, and parents. During the challenge, elementary school students are invited to change their current after-school snacking habits by consuming more fruits and vegetables. Using the recipe books and our Healthy Snack Finder as a foundation, kids are empowered to create fun, healthy snacks on their own or with minimal supervision.

Reminder: Friday Lunch Visitors

Here are some answers to questions you might have:

What is the process for visiting my child at lunch?

1. Sign-in at the office
Lunch visitors will be required to sign in at the front office and receive a visitor badge that must be worn at all times. We will need to see a photo ID (either your license or passport).

2. Eat lunch with your child
You will be able to eat lunch with your child in the cafeteria. There will be designated tables for lunch visitors. You may only eat with your child. No other learners may be invited to eat with you. You may purchase lunch in the cafeteria or bring a lunch with you.

3. Sign out in the office
Parents will be dismissed from the cafeteria. You will need to go back through the front office to sign out at the end of lunchtime. Parents will not be able to join their child(ren) back in the class or at recess.

Who can visit my child for lunch?

District guidelines limit lunchroom visitors at the elementary level to parents, immediate family members with written permission from a parent, and campus mentors. Immediate family members are defined as the student’s parents/step-parents, siblings, grandparents, or any person residing in the home. A parent can list the person(s) who have permission to have lunch for the entire school year.

If anyone other than the parent(s) listed as guardians in our district eschool system is eating with the child, we will need written documentation of your approval. I have attached a copy of the form below, and we will have copies in the office, as well.

TCE Parents and Families – Yearbook Photos Needed!

TCE PTO is looking for your help in gathering photos for the Town Center Yearbook! We set up an easy process for you to share your images from different campus or classroom events. We would love for all families to contribute their images so we can make sure we have equal representation from all grade levels and classrooms! Please use the following step-by-step directions document or video to create a Lifetouch account and begin uploading your images now. Thank you!

Free or Reduced-Priced Meals

For the last two years, free and reduced meals were provided for all Texas public school children. This year, families must complete an application to qualify for free or reduced-priced meals. For more information, check out the Coppell ISD Child Nutrition website. Complete your School Meal Application here. Allow up to ten days to process your application.

Volunteer Background Check Form - REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER

If you anticipate volunteering on campus at all this year, please fill out. A new one must be completed each school year.
