Hello Eastridge Families!

I hope your famliy has had a fantastic week! We have had another great week of Learn at Home with our students! I appreciate all of their hard work and efforts! I have been joining some classroom zoom sessions and love seeing those smiling faces! We miss our students but certainly appreciate getting to see them and spend time with them during the classroom learning sessions.

Online registration for Preschool and Kindergarten for the 20-21 school year is now available on our website under the Explore Tab. If you are a current Warren Early Childhood Center parent and will be attending a Warren Elementary School, please call our hotline number at 317-608-0545 and we will assist in getting your information moved over. If you have a new Preschool or Kindergarten student attending Warren, please use the online registration process. We are also accepting out of district applications at this time. If you are experiencing any issues with online registration, please contact us at 317-608-0545 or email msdwarrenelearning@warren.k12.in.us. We will be happy to assist you in registering your child online. More information is located on our district website.

If you are in need of a student device or having issues with a device, you can either contact your school's principal, contact our elearning hotline at 317-608-0545. or you can take your device to our help desk at Walker Career Center, door 70. The help desk is available Monday - Friday 11 AM - 1PM.

Our food outreach will continue on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11-1 at 11 locations. Renaissance School, located at 30th and Post Road will be a new site and will replace Hawthorne Elementary. Wednesdays will continue to be 5:30 - 7 at 2 locations. Lakeside Elementary and now our Moorhead location at 8400 East Tenth Street will be a new site. Hello Eastridge Families!

I hope you all are coming up with some fun ways to stay connected and create your own fun at home! I have seen some of you in zooms show your pets, introduce me to your brothers and sisters - SO FUN! I hope you all enjoy this weekend and we will "see" you next week!

Eastridge families, if you have purchased an Eastridge yearbook for your student they are scheduled to arrive near the end of May as usual. We will work with everyone to distribute the yearbooks in a safe way per state health regulations. If you would still like to order a yearbook we did order extras that could be purchased as well in May. I will update you all once the Yearbooks have been delivered.

As a parent or guardian of a student attending a Warren school, you have online access to your child or children's courses, grades, attendance, discipline, and academic history. The student and parent portal has been upgraded to Tyler SIS Student 360. This new portal offers parents, students and district staff online access to student information via the Web on PCs or tablets or on a smartphone application — providing comprehensive functionality with a touch-friendly, intuitive interface. You must obtain a username and password through your child's teacher in order to access your child's information.

Indiana has announced the launch of a Call-and-Learn Hotline for students to use Monday through Friday, 1-5 p.m., that will be operated by members of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association (IRTA). Students can call 1-877-45-study M-F from 1-5 pm for additional support with remote learning.

I'm exctied to announce that we've connected with 93.49% of our students this week!

Please make sure to check the district website HERE to get your lessons. Every Monday morning by 8:00am the lessons will be posted for the week. Have questions? Reach out to your teacher!

Community Compass launched an app recently to help users find food pantries, farmers’ markets and hot meal sites. It is also designed to navigate a variety of nutrition assistance programs, such as the Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) programs.
