4K District Newsletter

Koenig Elementary - There will be no school April 10th and 11th for 4K students at our Koenig Elementary location. Teachers will be engaging in professional development related to social/emotional learning and student-focused behavior management, as well as essential standards work as part of the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process.

Head Start - There will be no school for students attending our Head Start location on Monday, April 10th.

When: Wednesday, April 26th at 5:30 PM

Where: The Lester Public Library

What: If you give a pig a pancake, she’ll want some syrup to go with it, of course. We promise to have plenty of syrup on hand when you visit the library because we’re serving pancakes with story time! We’re also movin’, groovin’, and explorin’ the dramatic play center together (because PLAYING is the best way to learn!). Hear about all the library has to offer. We hope to become a regular part of your family routine if you’re not already frequent visitors. Our space is here for everyone to play, study, work and relax. We can’t WAIT to see you!

Who: Early Childhood and 4K families in the Two Rivers Public School District.

*An RSVP will be sent home with your child. Please RSVP to your child's teacher by April 17th, 2023.

Our Jumpstart courses are an extension of the academic school year and are designed to continue skill building around reading, writing, and math. Door to door busing is available for our 4K students attending Jumpstart to Kindergarten.

4K families are encouraged to enroll their child(ren) in Jumpstart to Kindergarten to ease the transition from 4K to Kindergarten. Classes take place at Koenig Elementary School.
