Tech Tribe Badge Challenges allow teachers the opportunity to learn and integrate tech tools in their classrooms. Completing the challenge for a tech tool makes teachers eligible for a "Tech Tribe" badge for their work. Badges can be proudly displayed by their classroom door to let everyone know how fabulous they are at integrating technology! Teachers work hard at their own pace to complete Challenges such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, Poll Everywhere, Nearpod, Pear Deck, Plickers, Digital Citizenship, and many more. Once you have completed the challenge, complete a Badge Form to receive a Tech Tribe Badge as a reward and recognition for your commitment to moving our students toward college and career readiness.

Remind is a free text messaging app that helps teachers, students, and parents communicate quickly and efficiently.

Fast: Messages are sent in real time to an entire class, a small group, or just a single person. You can also schedule announcements ahead of time and attach photos and other files.

Accessible: With Remind, you can send text messages straight to any phone, including flip phones. To reach every family, translate your messages into more than 70 languages before you send.

Effective: Use delivery receipts tos see who's reading your messages. If you're organizing an activity like a field trip or event, use Remind to manage the activity.

Remind's guidelines, practices, and features have been designed to protect the safety and security of users and their personal information.

The educator will successfully setup a class and students in Remind, and send out at least two messages.

1. Sign-up for a free account at www.remind.com, choose your school and login.

2. Setup your class and invite your students and parents to join your class.

3. Send out at least two messages to parents and students.

1. Submit a screenshot of your Remind Class List.

2. Submit your Remind Class Code.

3. Under comments, share how Remind has affected the climate in your classroom.
