Congratulations to boys and girls track for an outstanding performance at the Friday "Knight" Invitational in Arab! Overall, the boys' team won the whole championship, and the girls' team was runner up. There were a lot of individual medals awards to our Jets as well!

We are proud to announce that our very own, Ms. Shratter, received the Alabama World Language Association Best Latin Teacher award at the recent state and regional conference.

Congratulations to the James Clemens Cybersecurity program for earning the rank of state champions in the recent CyberPatriot XV competition. JCHS team won the Platinum Open Division, as well as, runner-up in the Silver Open Division. They will be featured in the April edition of Madison Living magazine.

Dr. D will be playing in the 1st Annual Charity Classic Softball Game at Toyota Field on April 15th! This event is hosted by The Enrichment Center and will work to spread awareness and support for youth mental health services.Thanks to support from the community and partnerships with local schools, The Enrichment Center is able to provide mental health therapy sessions at no cost to students or their families! • Summer School Registration will be open online beginning May 1. More information to come.
• Calhoun will have a representative in the Landing during refuel Friday, April 7th.
• There will be an informational meeting in the auditorium April 5th, during Refuel if you are interested in taking Dual Enrollment classes at UAH, Calhoun, or Drake for summer or fall 2023.
  
• The Art Club is folding a thousand paper cranes out of your wishes for a graduation mural. There’s an old saying that if you make 1000 paper cranes your wishes will come true. With this goal in mind, the Art Club needs your help. Seniors come down to the Landing during refuel and write down your wishes for the future, and juniors, sophomores, and freshmen help us say goodbye to the class of 2023 by writing down farewells and best wishes to our senior friends.

• Students cannot be dropped off or picked up at the front circle of the school. Please follow the instructions to carline at the auditorium side of the building. This is for the safety of our students and to help the flow of traffic. We appreciate your cooperation!
  
• Students checking in or who arrive at school after the start of the school day, should ONLY enter the building from the front entrance and go through the attendance office.
  
• Students are allowed 5 parent notes PER semester. If your student is out of parent notes then any tardy or absence will be unexcused without a doctor's excuse. You can monitor your students attendance in PowerSchool as well.
