Athletics, Extracurricular Activities, and Academic Standing
Athletics and Extracurricular Activities Eligibility
Academic eligibility is determined at the end of each of the four marking periods. At Dighton-Rehoboth the four eligibility periods are: first term, second term, third term, and final grade. A student who fails more than 1 course including major and elective courses will be ineligible to participate in athletics, including practice, until the next marking period. A major course is considered to be worth 5 credits and an elective course is 2.5 credits.
