From School Administration
During the months of May and June, our students will take part in many special events including field day, trips, our chorus concert, and Simulated Congressional Hearings to name a few. I speak on behalf of the entire staff when I say we are all so proud of the students' accomplishments this past year. I also want to take this opportunity to thank our amazing staff for their collaboration, dedication, and enthusiasm! Next week we honor them as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week!
We are also very grateful for our families support throughout the year. This partnership is key to ensuring our students succeed and feel supported.
During May and June, we have a great deal of content to cover and much work to be done to ensure our students are 100% prepared for the next grade level. Please be sure students are here each day on time, as attendance is key to their success.
We look forward to seeing you at our spring events, both academic and social. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if we can be of any assistance.
Mr. Cosentino, Principal
NEW INFORMATION
Staff Appreciation Week - May 8-12
Staff Appreciation Week (May 8-12)
It’s always a good time to celebrate our amazing staff at CCES! But we particularly want to take time during Staff Appreciation Week (May 8-12) to thank those wonderful people who serve us in so many ways! Please consider having your children write a note, color a picture, bring in a classroom supply or share some kind words with their teachers and other helpers throughout the building. It means so much to them!
Here are a few templates to choose from & list of supplies:
Here is a wish list of supplies for teachers.

Thank you so much for helping celebrate our beloved staff! And a big THANK YOU to YOU for being such supportive families! We couldn’t do any of this without your support!

Band and Strings Updates
Substitute for Mrs. Yeager Starts Next Week.
We are pleased to share that we have a substitute for Mrs. Yeager. Ms. Alexa Hayman will start next week as our band/strings substitute. She just completed her internship (student teaching) and will graduate this weekend from Messiah University in Pennsylvania. Ms. Hayman has an open contract with HCPSS and will be a band and/or strings teacher at another school in HCPSS next year. She will provide lessons through the end of the year.No Band/Strings Concert
We will not have a spring concert for band and strings. Due to Mrs. Yeager's baby's early arrival, there has been too much time without instruction. With over five weeks since formal lessons and only 19 school days until the scheduled concert, it is not feasible to have a concert this spring. We have many interruptions to the schedule, including MCAP for grades 3 and 4, field day, and field trips. So, those 19 days of lessons and preparation are actually much less.
Chorus Concert - May 25th
The chorus concert will be held at Clemens Crossing's cafeteria/stage on Thursday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m.
