COVID Reminders
In the past there were times when we encouraged our students to still attend school when maybe they had a sore throat or a runny nose. Now is NOT one of those times. If your child is showing any signs of illness, please keep them at home. This is important as we look out for the safety and health of ALL our students and staff. All of our teachers are maintaining their Google Classrooms to allow students to keep up with learning and assignments.
We are doing all we can to keep our students and staff safe and our campus open for learning. In order to do this here are some COVID safety reminders and best practices:
- Complete Student’s CrisisGo check in each morning.
- Students are to be masked. It is recommended that students wear surgical grade masks whenever possible. They are more protective than cloth masks.
- Be socially distant when at all possible. Remember the new masking rules for outdoors.
- Make sure students wash hands and utilize hand sanitizer.
- If your student is sick, keep them at home.
- COVID protocols for quarantine, isolation, and vaccinations have been updated by the Department of Health. Details can be found on our District website by next week. I have included the district link that will help you navigate the current guidelines and requirements.
Close Contact and Isolation Clarification
We understand how confusing all of the COVID contact tracing, isolation, and quarantine protocols can be. Please use the below graphics to assist you in understanding what to do when your child is a close contract or tests positive for COVID. Click on the photos for a clearer picture if needed.

Perfect Attendance Sparks Success
While COVID gets in the way of some students being able to attend school each day, when they are here, we expect they arrive to class on time each period, including the first period of the day.
Check out the flyer below to learn how our students will be recognized for being on time to their classes. Being on time is a life skill that they need to master to contribute to their life-long success. Talk with your child about this new, fun opportunity and help them succeed by helping them arrive on time to their first class of the day.
