Thank you to everyone who was able to attend Curriculum Night. For those unable to attend please reach out to your classroom teacher for information about classroom routines and curriculum. We included the slides and handouts from our presentation below.

The PTO is sponsoring our annual Ice Cream Social on Thursday September 28th. This event is free to all, donations will be accepted. Please consider stopping by to enjoy and ice cream and some socializing with our incredible South Row community.

Don't forget Picture Day is September 27th. Envelopes will go home shortly.

CORI Forms: To volunteer in your child's classroom, field trip, etc. a CORI form must be completed. After completion, they are valid for up to 3 years. CORI forms must be completed in person with our main office staff during business hours, no appointment is needed. A valid drivers license is needed at the time of completion.

Pictures Opt Out - Classroom/Building Based/Social Media: If you would like to opt out of having your child's picture shared via our family newsletter, classroom communication or on South Row social media please contact Mrs. Gilbert, Mr. Ramalho and/or Ms. O'Neill ASAP. Please specify what you are opting out of with regards to picture sharing.

Walker Pick-up: Please remember that "walker pick-up" at the front of the building is for those families that are walking or bike riding to school.

Cellphones: Please remind your child that phones should be off and in their backpack not only during school hours, but also while riding the bus.

SMILE! School Picture Day is coming soon!. O’Connor Studios will be at South Row School on Wednesday, September 27 to photograph all students for individual portraits. Please watch for a paper flyer coming home in your student’s backpack next week. It will feature all the portrait packages available to purchase EITHER in advance online OR on picture day by sending payment to school in the preprinted envelope that will be provided on the flyer.

Each student flyer will have a unique access code preprinted on the order form that will be required to use for any online orders. Please have the form handy when ordering online.

Also, O’Connor Studios offers a discount to families having 3 or more students in the district within the same household ordering packages. Please call the studio at (978) 640-6250 or email them at: customerservice@oconnorstudio.com to find out how to receive this discount prior to ordering.

We will be offering a make up Photo day on November 14th for retakes or for any students that are absent on the September date.

Save the date for our sweet kick-off to the new school year...the South Row Ice Cream Social! We invite all current South Row staff, students, and their families to join us for some fun, fellowship, and of course ice cream on Thursday 9/28 4:30-7:00 on the playground. This is a free event for the South Row Community. The PTO will provide ice cream from Sullys, as well as allergy friendly pre-packaged options, and a toppings bar. We are in need of some volunteer SCOOPER HEROS to pre-scoop, set-up, serve, and clean-up. Please consider sprinkling some kindness on our community with the gift of your time. Dear South Row Families,

I hope everyone is healthy and having a great first month back to school! For those of us who have not been so lucky, I have a small favor to ask.

If your student is diagnosed with a specific illness (strep throat, flu, covid, conjunctivitis) please let me know. You can notify me individually via email or leave the information on the absentee line and Ms. Sepe will share it with me. Knowing why students are absent is helpful for me to track illnesses and adjust cleaning procedures if needed.

If you have not already done so, please return your student's health information form. This form is helpful for me to stay up to date on student health conditions and medications. Please email me changes as they come up.
