Volunteer Central
UIL here we come!
UIL State here we come!! Here are our most pressing volunteer opportunities for the week of October 29th, please see the graphic below for all the opportunities available.
- Pit Crew! Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help with Pit Crew! We could use about 5 more people for UIL State Prelims (Monday in San Antonio) and Finals (Tuesday in San Antonio, not guaranteed, but we want to be prepared). Prelims is especially important because we are once again contending with the clock to get our equipment in and out so we don’t get disqualified for going over time (this happened to another band at UIL Area!) No experience is required, we have Pit Crew jobs for everyone!
- Our Medical Team needs help in San Antonio. Right now we have 1 person committed to help for the entire trip. If you have medical background or are currently first aid certified, please contact Nikki Wilson.
- Obviously, State UIL is top of mind right now, but we do have our last Home Football game on Friday, so please signup to help with chaperones, concessions, and water crew!
- Next Saturday we will be having a full band performance as a sendoff for Grand Nats and we need help with concessions and spirit wear. Concessions and Spirit Wear will both close for the performance, so you will not miss the show, but we could use help before and after the show! We will also need Pit Crew help for this!
- Thank you to everyone who purchased items to help the chaperones restock! There are still a few things on their wishlist that they will need for Grand Nats, so it’s not too late to help, please go to their Amazon wishlist and help them out by ordering the items they need to continue taking care of our kids! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3TRNU01NRQ5RZ?ref_=wl_share
- If you have any questions reach out to Nikki Wilson at volunteers@hebronband.org
Band Fees
Please make all past due uniform payments and fees!
Financial statements were sent out this weekend to everyone. These fees are critical to the success of the organization.
- Please take note if you have outstanding payments for uniform items. HBBC has paid for these items through our vendors and your prompt payment is required to keep our budget in balance.
Please consider paying for all your yearly band fees in
full as soon as possible. Many of you have done this and we sincerely thank you.
HBBC needs to acquire funds to pay the many bills that come primarily in the fall. As always, billing for uniforms is ongoing (items are added throughout the year). Thank you for supporting our students.
- View your financial account : www.presto-assistant.com

LISD Bond & VATRE Information
Early voting begins tomorrow!
The Hebron Band Booster Club would like to let our parents know that the LISD Board of Trustees has voted to call for a $1.23B bond election and a voter-approved tax rate ratification election (VATRE). Both proposals will be up for voter approval on November 7th.
Registered voters residing within Lewisville ISD boundaries will be asked to consider a total of seven propositions that would generate additional funding to support educational programs and conduct maintenance, repairs and renovations across the district. If voters approve all six bond propositions (totaling $1.23B) and the VATRE, the total tax rate will be 10.6 cents lower than last year’s tax rate, a double-digit decrease in the total rate.
