Your are invited and encouraged to attend a Coffee and Conversation Session where Superintendent Bills can answer questions and share more information. While there is no formal PTA meeting scheduled for the month of December, we will hold an information meeting for parents of fourth grade students who are interested in helping to plan end-of-year fourth grade activities. This meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 6:00 in the school library.

We are looking forward to our first, and maybe an annual, Winter Holiday Shop being held in school for students on Friday, December 1. This is an optional opportunity for students be able to make a small purchase of a gift for someone else. Be on the lookout for a flyer coming home after the Thanksgiving break for more information.

Our next PTA meeting will be held in the library on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

The cooler weather is upon us! That doesn't scare us though! Our students will continue to go outside for recess each day, unless the temperature is below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Students should always have appropriate clothing for the weather: coat, boots, snow pants, hat, and gloves.

Please be sure to label your child's cold-weather clothing. You will be so glad you did!

Announcements about school closings, delayed openings, or early dismissal will be posted on the News Headlines section of the West Genesee School District website home page. They will also be broadcast on X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and the following stations which you can access by clicking here.

West Genesee students, teachers, and staff are invited to received two (2) complimentary tickets to the SU football game vs. Wake Forest on November 25, with the option to buy additional tickets at a discounted rate of $15. For the past few weeks, our students have been learning about the character strengths of bravery and gratitude. These links will connect you to the informational family letters. When we return from this break, we will focus on kindness as a characer strength.
