Happy New Year!!
Ed Tech Endorsement
We have started our first Cohorts for the Ed Tech Endorsement. Cohort 1 on Wednesday, January 11 and Cohort 2 was on Thursday, January 12. These courses are at the Auxiliary Services Building, 7905 South Redwood Road, from 4:30 - 7:30 pm.
For those teachers who did not make it into the first 2 Cohorts you can begin taking the Elective courses. You have 3 years to complete the Ed Tech Endorsement, so beginning to take the electives will help you when you do make it into one of our future Ed Tech Cohorts.
Registration for the Ed Tech Endorsement Elective Courses is now open. You can find a list of courses at the following link. These courses are taught in conjunction with UEN so you will be registering via their system. In order to register for these courses you will need a UEN Canvas Account. If you have previously taken UEN courses this account will work. If not you will need to create a UEN account.
Courses are open to all teachers, and can be taken even if you are not a part of the first endorsement cohort program.
Thank you for your participation in this program. We look forward to working with you.
If you have any questions about the ETEP program please contact Raimee Jensen 801-567-8158 in the Educational Technology department.
Google Classroom
Differentiate your assignments in Google Classroom
Google recently announced that teachers can assign assignments to small groups or even individuals students.
This is a small change (and not a complicated one), but the impact is HUGE. Teachers have been begging for this for a long time!
Ditch That Textbook has some great ideas about using this new feature.
