Ending Your Year in Canvas
What happens to my course(s) at the conclusion of the school year?
On June 23, all current courses move from Current Enrollments to Past Enrollments. When a course moves to Past Enrollments, it is no longer used for active teaching; it becomes a read-only copy of the course.
Can I copy and import content out of my Past Enrollment course?
Yes, you will still be able to copy or import any content out of any Past Enrollment course. However, you will not be able to build or add teachers or students to a Past Enrollment course. The course will be read-only.
How do I access my course when it becomes a Past Enrollment?
Follow these Canvas instructions on how to access all Past and Future Enrollments.
