SCHOOL CLOSING/eLEARNING INFORMATION
Dear Lester Prairie Families,
Winter weather is just around the corner and I want to remind you of a few key details about delays, school closings, and eLearning information.
School Closings, delays, and eLearning days are announced through our School Messenger system, sent out on our social media sites, and posted on our school district website. The information is also relayed to television stations WCCO, KSTP, Fox 9, and KARE 11 as well as radio stations KDUZ/KARP and KNUJ.
The district will use eLearning time when possible. ELearning days are considered student contact days and therefore eliminate the need for make-up days at the end of the school year. Districts are allowed to use up to 5 eLearning days per year. Attendance WILL be taken on eLearning days.
