This is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update. This week is School Counselor and Behavior Interventionist Week.

Please help me in saying thank you to our School Counselor Mrs. Gibson (bg5945@ccpsweb.org) and our Behavior Interventionist Miss Erika (ep9187@ccpsweb.org). These two staff members are truly two of the kindest people you'll meet. We are lucky they work with us at Yowell. They truly make our school a better place to work and learn.

The lottery to select students for Girls on the Run will be Wednesday, February 8th. Please be sure to sign your daughter up if she is interested. The link to register is in our weekly email.

With winter approaching, we must prepare for the possibility of inclement weather. The decision-

making process for closing schools for inclement weather is complex with the safety of our students

and staff as our top priority. In the event of a 2-hour delay breakfast will not be served. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about weather closings/delays...

In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.

We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
