PERKINS V COMPREHENSIVE LOCAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Mora High School and Pine Technical and Community College are seeking input from our students, parents, community members, and business partners to help us improve Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for high school and college students in our region. We are asking various groups to complete brief surveys (5-10 minutes) to help us gather information that will help inform the strategic direction of Career and Technical Education opportunities for students in our region.
Visit pine.edu/perkins on your smartphone or other device and select the survey that fits your demographic.
PRE-ACT
MHS will be offering the Pre-ACT for interested 10th-grade students on April 9, 2024. This is a great opportunity to get practice for taking the ACT. The cost of the test is $18.00.
Students wanting to take the Pre-ACT should complete the Pre-ACT sign-up form, and turn in payment to the MHS Counseling Office by February 26, 2024.

WELDING: A SPARK-TACULAR SKILL TO HAVE
Judgment Day was a massive success for our first-ever Mustang Welding Competition, sponsored by Preferred Metalfab Inc.! Our students put in extensive effort and dedication, and it's empowering to witness a community business like Preferred Metalfab Inc. recognize and support them. Their entire staff provided valuable input to each student with individual reviews on their welds. Thank you to Preferred Metalfab Inc. for their incredible investment in our welding students' future and congratulations to this semester's winners! Your hard work and passion have truly paid off.
ECO ENTHUSIASTS
Kudos to our Special Education Department! Today, they are hard at work making a positive impact by recycling. Their dedication to sustainability is truly commendable, and their efforts contribute to creating a more eco-friendly and responsible environment. Thank you for leading by example and showing that every small action counts!
