Morning Drop Off
π» Procedure Change π
This message is for parents/guardians who drop off at Palmer River River in the morning:
Administration was recently made aware that staff are unable to access parking spaces due to the large number of parents/guardians who are lining up to drop-off their child in the morning. It is essential that all staff are able to access the parking lot so that they can prepare for student arrival. We kindly ask that if you arrive before 8:50am, please wait in your cars along the guardrail closest to Beckwith. We truly appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Safety at Pick Up
This message is for parents/guardians who pick up at Palmer River River at the end of the day: the bus company has respectfully requested that children waiting with their parents for PRES car pick up to please stay out of the street. Children are welcome to play on the grass, or on the fields, but playing on the blacktop (or near the blacktop) creates a very unsafe situation for both cars and buses. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.

Notes from the Nurse
The Health Office Needs Donations!
The Health Office is accepting gently used or new clothes for our students. Please feel free to send a donation with your learner or it can be dropped off at your convenience. An individual is usually available between 7:30 to 4:30.
Children of all ages should have a change of clothes at school. Incidents as simple as spilled milk may necessitate a change. We like to keep the students engaged with minimal interruption. Please send something for the warmer weather.
Finally, we all love those adorable CROCS. We are experiencing an increase in ankle strains, twists and some more serious injuries. Confirm which day your child has physical education scheduled so they may bring appropriate footwear. Keep in mind that the children play rigorously during recess and other outdoor activities.
Thank you for the Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations. We are all very grateful.
Enjoy Motherβs Day weekend.

To make it all happen, she could use a little help from our parent community. We've put together a list of parent volunteer opportunities that are needed to help bring her vision to life. If you're able to lend a hand, please use this sign-up link at https://signup.com/go/nBeuTFb to get involved.
