Falcon Week at a Glance: August 21 - 27
We hope you had a wonderful first week of school! We are so happy to have our Falcons back on campus. Please see below to learn about all the great things happening this week in Royal ISD! This week's background reflects that each day and each new school year is a fresh canvas waiting for our students to write their own stories. Make it a great one, Falcons!
One great thing that happened the past week: Royal ISD is proud to announce that the district has received an accountability rating of "B" from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). This is the first time since 2019 that the TEA has handed out the ratings. The rating represents the hard work and dedication of Royal's staff, students, and families as we invest in our tomorrow. Districts are evaluated on a series of criteria including STAAR scores; college, career and military readiness; state graduation rate; academic growth; relative performance; English language proficiency; and federal graduation rate.

Have a great week!
