Raider Update
November 6, 2022
Message from the Superintendent
As kindergarten students did their annual costume parade, walking through McAuliffe Elementary on Monday was another reminder that this school year looks and feels the most "normal" since 2019. Yet, seeing our students engaged in the rigor of academic learning and staff working to strengthen relationships throughout our buildings is also a reminder of how important public schools are for our children and how essential Hastings Public Schools is to the communities that make up ISD 200.
As a District, our focus has been to "reset" and "recenter" this year, keeping the main thing, the main thing, and revisiting our purpose. I believe when we all lean into seeing, serving, and supporting all students, we support our community's belief that strong public schools are directly linked to the well-being of our community. It takes all of us to make it happen! Thank you for your support of our students and staff.
