Plano School District No. 88

District 88 believes that all students should have access to daily in-person instruction from our highly qualified educational professionals. As a result, under the current Illinois Phase, District 88 is planning to return to daily instruction with typical school operating hours for the 2021-22 school year.

At this time, the Illinois State Board of Education is requiring school districts in Illinois to offer a remote learning option to students who are medically eligible.

In order to plan effectively to meet the needs of all students in our district, we are asking for every family to click here to complete the Parent Survey for EACH school-aged child in their home. Following the collection of survey data, District 88 will make individual contact with families who have indicated the need for remote learning for the 2021-22 school year.

Medical Condition Requirement for Remote Learning during 2021-22 school year

A medical letter must be written by the student's doctor stating that due to their specific medical condition, the student may not participate in in-person learning for the 2021-22 school year.

El médico del estudiante debe escribir una carta médica que indique que, debido a su condición médica específica, el estudiante no puede participar en el aprendizaje en persona para el año escolar 2021-22.
