Williams School Parent Bulletin

I'd like to wish all of our Williams community a Happy New Year! As we return to school from winter break, please remind all of our students about the importance of logging into their Seesaw and Google Classrooms on a daily basis. I also wanted to share that there's a lot of evidence that shows a marked improvement in student grades and better engagement when our students turn on their video cameras while they work with their teachers online. We'd appreciate any support you can offer in these two areas.

We are grateful for your cooperation and all of the hard work you put in as we continue on our distance learning journey together.

During the month of January, we'll be celebrating the character trait of "responsibility." Please feel free to wear a top/shirt in any shade of green on Character Counts Fridays this month.

Responsibility means to: Practice self-control • Be accountable for your choices • Finish what you begin • Do your best and keep trying

You are cordially invited to join Principal Granado for our first virtual Cafecito con la Directora (Coffee Chat with the Principal) on Tuesday, 01/19/21 from 6:00-7:00 pm. The evening chat will begin with a Spanish wellness presentation by Ventura County Behavioral Health and then you'll be able to chat with our principal and school counselor afterwards.
