Varsity Girls Basketball

On the 10th, Varsity Birls basketball won against Bentley at home. The final score was 63-16. Sixteen of our points were made by Jessica Peters. Both Ava DeVlaminck and Isabella Weier added 8. Keira Miller, Delaney Wolle, and Lauren Abromaitis all had 6. Olivia Stickler ended the game with 5. Both Lucia Rodriguez and Sophia Peter had 4.
At Kingston on the 12th, the Dryden girls lost 18-66. Eight of those points were scored by Jessica Peters. Lucia Rodriguez had 5. Keira Miller ended the game with 4, and Olivia Stickler had 1.
Varsity Boys Basketball
On Tuesday, January 10th, the Dryden Boys Basketball team played a non-league game at home against Bentley High School. Dryden took an impressive win against Bentley, ending the game with 60-44. Jacob Burgess led the team with 24 points, succeeded by Dylan Ledford who scored 16 points. Jaylin Taylor had a total of eight points, Dorian Lewis had five points, Noah Slagle had three points, Sonny Coscione had three points, and Jacob Buffo had one point. Coach John DelCampo stated, "We really played hard all night. It was a great team win for us. Bentley is very athletic. It gets us prepared for Kingston on Friday”. Fantastic job on the win, boys!
The week didn't end as well as it started, however. Dryden fell to Kingston on Friday, January 13 by a score of 74-37. “Kingston played hard and played very well. We did not play well at all,” reflected Coach DelCampo. Dryden was led by Jacob Burgess with 10 points. Dylan Ledford followed with 9, and Dorian Lewis scored 8. Jaylin Taylor and Sonny Coscione added 4 points each, and Noah Slagle put up 2.
JV Girls Basketball
On January 12, the JV Girls Basketball team lost a close one to Kingston by a score of 35-32.
JV Boys Basketball

On January 10th, the Junior Varsity boys basketball team won their first game! They played Bentley, winning with a score of 41-29. The leading scorer was Brenden Peter with 10 points. Not far behind him, Hayden Blair had 8 points, and David Insley added 6 points. Keep up the good work, boys!
Dryden lost to Kingston, 62-28, on Friday, January 13. David Insley scored 12 points, and Nick Abromaitis put up 5.
