We will learn how to realise one object scarf or collar and (or) Rastacoiffe for two or three uses with very fine layers of merino wool and silk. For students who has basic knowledge in wet felting technique.

DAY 1 Annelie will show you several models and the way to wear them. For your project we will choose the material we want to use . We will make a sample to calculate the shrinking factor. We will develop a template with enlarged measurements of your head and the length for the project and than lay out the combed merino wool in two fine layers on one side of your template.
DAY 2 You will continue the lay out of wool , decorate with silk fabrik and silk fibers .
Then you start to felt . The template has to be taken out once the felt is well advanced, Continue shrinking to the right size , than rinse and spin dry. You can try your headwear….you will look great
about the artist
Annelie Petitqueux is living in South-West of France . She is a professional feltmaker .
She likes creating clothing in light and soft nuno felt. Since 2003 she gives workshops in France and abroad .
