Important Information
It is ESSENTIAL to have a working computer/laptop, microphone, and camera.
Our proctoring software- - Proctorio - will monitor exams and major assignments.
Canvas Course platform works best on the CHROME search engine.
You will be registered for the courses that you have fulfilled the prerequisite for. You will be registered for the corresponding classes once the prerequisites have been met.
Please log in to your MyPass Account and check your credentials for graduation if you do not have a MyPass account please complete this Google Form to have Mrs. Damur register you for your MyPass account
Our Centre is open Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30. Feel free to make an appointment with your teacher if you would like on one instruction or drop by and work in the Centre. We have a comfy couch, tables, snacks, and a warm smile to welcome you.

Grades 1-2-3 meet at 9:30 am Monday to Thursday
Grades 4-5-6 meet at 10:00 am Monday to Thursday

Welcome to week 2 of online learning. You will not be able to start your week 2 assignments until you have completed all week 1 assignments. Just a reminder to go into each course and click on lessons. Please do not use the to do list because this does not include all of the activities, pages and assignments. You can view the September calendar for the schedule for google meets this week. This calendar and your newsletter can be found on your child’s Homeroom page. You can also sign up for an individual meet for this week on the September calendar if you haven’t done so yet. See you on Tuesday!!
How to Log Into Your Canvas Courses
Here is our September calendar with dates and times for google meets. This is a live document, so I do make changes throughout the month, so remember to check back everyday. You will find the September calendar on your child's Homeroom page. Click on the link below to view our September calendar.
On the September calendar, you will see a "red sign up now" button. Please click on it and sign up for an individual meet with me next week.
Also for each week, I complete a newsletter, with important dates and what your child will be working on for the week. The link to these newsletters can be found on your child's Homeroom page. You can click on one of the links below to see what your child will be doing for this short week.
Your newsletter for week 2 will unlocks on Sunday so you can see what your child will be doing.

We want to start a SCHOOL COUNCIL @ SILC. Parents needed. Please contact Mrs. Antoniuk karena@eics.ab.ca.
We need parent voice, to assist us in suppporting students needs, and initiatives.
The commitment is six to eight - 1 hour meetings in one school calendar year.
