Dear Families,

As the Holidays approach us while we navigate these trying times of living through a global pandemic and 100% virtual school, we want to take this moment to THANK YOU. The RA families have provided so much support to their children to make learning happen at home and we appreciate your partnership.

We are looking ahead to the new year and a reopening plan to return to hybrid instruction. We whole heartedly believe that students need to be face to face to learn best. With that said, we can't reopen appropriately without your feedback. Classroom teachers are currently reaching out to ask about your intentions for your children's learning plan moving forward, either hybrid (in school two days a week) or 100% virtual.

Also, we will need to know whether or not you give consent for COVID testing at school. We will still need to test a percentage of students which is dependent upon the level of cases in the area. If you do not consent, they will still be able to come to school as long as we have enough students who are able to be tested in order to get the percentage required.

Holiday Virtual Assembly with Chaz Bruce!

We will be providing an opportunity for all students and teachers to have a little fun and celebrate positivity with a guest presenter, Chaz Bruce. Some of you may know him from his famous TicTocs or his connections in the Rochester area. The link for this will be posted in your child's Google Classroom.

Meet Our School Nurse, Mrs. Carrie Meyer!

My name is Carrie and I am currently your nurse at RA. I have been a nurse for about 12 years- all with pediatrics. I have travel nursed, worked in emergency, assisted in managing the children’s hospital, worked as a clinical resource nurse, and assisted in managing a pediatric emergency department.

With that being said, I want you to know that I have your children’s best interest at heart. I am doing everything I can to keep them here in school while we are in hybrid, also making sure they are safe, as well as other students and the staff here at RA.
