Anya was identified with dyslexia and ADHD in elementary school. Her mother, who had similar issues, was determined to make sure Anya never felt like she was less than anyone else.

Anya’s incredibly supportive parents read books to her, taught her to self-advocate, and kept her focused on education through her young adult years. Now a special education teacher, Anya wants to make sure the next generation has the same experience and support she had as a child. Watch her inspiring story.

Dr. Gabrielle Rappolt-Schlichtmann was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child. As she grew up, she developed a passion for science. Now, as the chief scientist for EdTogether, Gabrielle draws on her personal experience and knowledge of science to study stigma in school.

The goal? To reimagine schools so they can be more inclusive and supportive of all students.

A great app for phonics and working with word patterns. You may choose from uploaded library of hundreds of word patterns or create a customized list of words to your child's needs. It also allows your child to record as she or he reads the words!
