Medical Lake Community Classes

We are excited to bring back our free Medical Lake Community Classes. In years past, we have had excellent turn out from several members of our community. Plus we will be offering free onsite childcare. See below for details!

Our target audience includes: parents, volunteers, community members, school and social service staff, and anyone who has interest in improving outcomes for self and or individuals to which you provide support for.

Area of focus and class schedules included below:

• Jan 10, Anxiety In Children and Adolescents ~ 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
• Jan 12, Food and Mood: Nutrition and Mental Health ~ 5:00 p.m.-7:00p.m.
• Feb 9, Understanding Post Traumatic Growth ~ 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
• Feb 22, Teen Substance Use ~ 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
• Mar 24, Bugs & Wishes / Sound Discipline Lesson ~ 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
  
• Mar 30, Secondary Trauma ~ 4:00 p.m.- 6:00p.m.
• TBD, Depression in Children ~ 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Graduate students from the Gonzaga University School Psychology program are volunteering to provide this free childcare opportunity to ensure all families have the chance to attend onsite trainings. During this time, your child will be able to play alongside peers, participate in games, and ask for homework help if needed!
