Take a look at all of the fun we had this week!

Kindergarten, 1st grade and 4th grade filled their SOAR bucket this week! Each grade level chooses how they are going to celebrate this accomplishment. 4th grade choose a movie clip. Kindergarten and 1st grade choose a stuffed animal day. The students had a great time celebrating their successes!!!

Our 1st PTA Ice Cream Treat Day of the school year was a huge success! The students love the treat!

Our next PTA Treat Day will be Wednesday, Oct 4. For those parents/guardians that haven't returned their form, you can still participate if you would like. The cost is $1 (or $10.50 for the remaining 14 treat days).

The PTA has coordinated new Evergreen spirit wear for purchase. Orders can be shipped home or be picked up at the SBI location.

The Benjamin-Evergreen PTA is ready to host another Fun Run on October 20th full of exciting prizes! This year's top fundraiser wins their choice of a $125 gift card to Urban Air Adventure Park OR Nike.com! Your fundraising dollars will go towards a new laminator at Evergreen. The laminator is used to create learning materials and games for students. You have a month to Get Ready, Get Set, and Go! (More information will be sent home!)

Students will have their pictures taken on Tuesday throughout the day. You can order your child's picture package at the link below.

If you are visiting Evergreen for a meeting or volunteering, you will need to provide your driver's license every time you are coming in. We have a new security system that provides an additional layer of security for adults that are coming into the building. Thank you very much!!

Know anyone who is great with kids and is looking for a part-time position? We are looking for a lunchroom supervisor at Evergreen. The hours are 10:45-1:45 everyday.

Please make sure that dogs and pets are not on Evergreen property during arrival and dismissal. This includes the grassy area by the marquee in the front of the building. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

If your child is going to be absent from school for any reason, please call the Evergreen Office, 630-876-7810, to report your child's absence no later than 8:00 AM the day of the absence. Please only email your child's classroom teacher about an absence after you have called the office. You can leave a message about an absence on the attendance line at anytime.

October 20th: Early Dismissal (Dismissal @ 11:40, No preschool attendance)
