Cougar Weekly Update

Week of January 23rd

2nd quarter ends Wednesday

2nd quarter ends on Wednesday, January 25th. Your child will then enter 3rd quarter Thursday, January 26th (crazy how time flies). Your child will enter new unified art classes on Thursday. They can see their new classes in their student portal. Report cards will go home both virtually and a paper copy on Wednesday, February 1st. A copy of their iready diagnostic from the winter benchmark will go home as well and if your child has an IEP their progress notes will go home as well.

February 2 at 5:45 p.m. (during open house) – Brennan Center

February 2 at 6:45 p.m. (during open house) – Brennan Center

February 14 at 10 a.m. – online question and answer session

February 6 at 6 p.m. in auditorium – Family information session 1

February 7 from 8-10 a.m. in library – Family information session 2

February 8 at 6 p.m. in auditorium – 8th Grade family night

Winter weather and school cancellations/delays

Please remember that we are in the thick of winter. Please be mindful of weather, dressing children appropriately and looking for school delays and cancellations. If school is delayed or cancelled and you have signed up for messenger you will get a text message, also you can check the mansd.org website and wmur.

If we have a 2 hour delay your child would be expected to be at school for 9:25.
