From the Principal's Desk
What an incredible first week of school it has been. So many smiles, laughs and maybe even a little learning too! Take a moment and view some of the photo highlights below. Next week we will start our Positivity Project trait of the week. Each week we will highlight a character trait and how we can learn and grow in that trait. Next week is our intro week: Other People Mindset (Learning how we can think and care for others) and our second week will be about the trait Curiosity. Please see the letter below for more information on the Positivity Project Program and click the links above for highlights of our first two weeks!
As we move into our first full week of school next week, please take note of a few reminders:
SNACK - We do not have extra food on hand for students who forgot snack. Please make sure you send your K-1 students with a separate snack each day.
PM PICK UP - Please review the traffic flow map attached. We have previously been advised by the Elmhurst PD that exiting back onto frontage road was unsafe. We currently operate on their recommended traffic flow pattern. After picking up your student cars must exit through the parking lot around the back of the building. Staff will assist in directing traffic during dismissal times. Our goal is to make sure all members of our Salt Creek family are as safe as possible during dismissal. We appreciate your patience when waiting in the pick up line.
I have requested Elmhurst PD to observe traffic flow next week and determine if changes are needed. Stay tuned!
Regards,
Mrs. Scanlan

TECHNOLOGY FEE
You can make payment for your child's school fees through RevTrak by signing on to Skyward. If you do not see a tech fee in RevTrak please contact the school office your child will attend. Please see below for RevTrak payments. You can also come in and make payment by cash or check to any school in our district.
Thank you in advance.
A New Way to Pay Fees in Skyward
NO MORE E-PAY! We have rolled out a new way to pay for lunches, school fees and activity fees for students. You can sign up here https://saltcreek48.revtrak.net/. Or you can go to your parent portal in skyward, click on the fee payment tile, then in the far right hand top corner click on the "make online payments" button. This will take you to Revtrak. Make sure to sign up before you try to make payment. Once you can sign in, click the Make a Payment button in the middle of the page. This new service will streamline the payments so you can make a payment or set up recurring payments. This is directly connected to Skyward so you see the money immediately go to your child's account. If you have any questions please email or call your school office.
Preschool Payments: Once in Revtrak you will see in the upper right area an arrow next to SHOP. Click the arrow and pick Preschool in order for you to complete your payment. If you have any questions please email or call the Salt Creek school office.
