GMS Falcon Update

• Quarter 3 report cards went home with students yesterday (3/23).
• Reminder that the attendance numbers are based on hours, not days, per HB410.
• Soon we will begin to reach out to families who have a student who may have met initial retention criteria based on grades from quarters 1-3.

State testing is just around the corner. We ask that we ensure students are here on time, eat breakfast. Remind them that all we can ever expect is that students give their best effort, that's all that is within their control !

Here are the Ohio State Testing Dates for GMS Students:

Grade 6 and 7 students all received a packet with information about the current fundraising opportunity to benefit DC accounts for future trips. We have additional packets in the office.

Kona Ice will be back at GMS on Thursday, March 30th! Don't forget you can also prepay online for your student to enjoy one at lunch! Students are of course welcome to bring cash as well. Costs for size options are $3, $4, $5. All profits from the Kona Ice events will be going towards our building PBIS initiatives.

GMS Wrestling capped off a very strong season this weekend with a D2 Junior High State Championship! To the best of our knowledge, this is the first state team title for GMS, outside of the dual team championships. Individual placers included: Cooper Breslin (5th), Gabe Krieger (6th), Blaine DeMarco (2nd), Cole Winemiller (4th), Kyler Crooks (2nd), Gage Stull (6th), and Wyatt Kaemmerer (2nd). Other teammates bringing in points at the tournament included: Ryan Angel, Jake Hoke, Jonas Mannier, and Danny Hoke.

Throughout this season the team has had tremendous success winning many tournaments, including a CBC Championship, a Divisional Championship, a Runner-up finish at State Duals (all divisions), and now the D2 Jr. High State Championship. Congratulations Falcons!

Paperwork is in the office with information about the Fall trip. We will not take payments without paperwork (K&K contract/permission slip, and GLS Responsibility contract). Payment is made to Graham Local Schools. Payment plan is as follows:
