October 2021
Message from the Executive Director
Happy Fall! Can you believe that it’s the end of October? Wow! The weather is cooling off (most days), the coffee shops have pumpkin spice lattes, and we get to wear boots and sweaters (at least theoretically). I hope that this season brings you some relaxation and fun. Thank you for all the incredible ways that you are making a difference in the futures of our students and their families. You all are simply the best!
Respectfully,
Kristen Williams, Ph.D.
Executive Director for Disability Services

PLC Message
We'd like to say thank you to all teachers who have spent time with us after school during the PLCs this year. Last week's Reading PLCs had over 50 teachers in attendance! Topics that have been focused on so far are implementing literacy stations, tips and tricks for implementing our new reading programs, and an overview of the Hand2Mind kits for math. We have Math PLCs coming up this week on Thursday, so be on the lookout in the google classroom for more information. Thank you for going above and beyond to help your students be successful!
