October is Youth Substance Use Prevention Month
Youth Substance Use Prevention Month can be a good reminder for us to intentionally focus on sharing specific resources with our students and families.
The best prevention practices include a combination of of information, skill developments and strategies to reduce youth access to substances.
Please consider sharing some resources with families in your school newsletter, email communications with families as well as working with your school teams to increase students access to information and opportunities to practice skills.
Feel free to reach out for specific strategies for your school community.
