Essential Question: How can we classify and categorize things?
Unit 5 Week 1 Student Outcomes:
- Phonics/Spelling Skill- R Controlled Vowel ar (cart, barn, arm, art, yarn, harm)
- Structural Analysis- Plurals (irregular)
- High-Frequency Words- four, large, none, only, put, round
- Vocabulary Words- distinguish, classify, organize, entire, startled, trouble, whole
- Comprehension Skill- CIte relevant evidence from text. Acknowledge differences in point of view. Retell the text.
- Grammar Skill- Use words that join sentences (ie. and, but, or).
