Principal's Message
To the BEST PARENTS EVER,
I would like to thank each of you for helping us to educate our scholars. It is because of you that our scholars are participating in virtual classrooms, visiting Google Classroom for their assignments, submitting their assignments to their teachers and being the leaders we know they are. We miss each of you so much and can't wait until we can see our scholars face to face again. We also can't wait to see each of you on campus! We truly miss ALL of our Holland families and scholars!
Over the past two weeks, our scholars have have connected to their teachers and are getting back into the swing of things with completing school work. I have had a great time chatting with kids in virtual conferences and speaking with them as I assist you. We do understand that some of you are having challenges with completing the assignments because you don't have technology and/or WiFi. We are currently working on obtaining additional technology to distribute to each family that is in need of technology. Additionally, we are working with the district to assist our families with getting WiFi. If you completed the Technology Survey, your name has been submitted to the district. If you are having problems with your student completing his/her assignment, don't hesitate to contact the teacher for assistance. Should you still need assistance, feel free to contact us at 972-749-1900. You may also contact me directly via email at shamcdonald@dallasisd.org.
While the campus is closed, our entire faculty and staff is working day and night to ensure our scholars' educational, social, and emotional needs are being met. Please contact us if you need any assistance. We miss each of you and can't wait to see you again! #HOLLANDSTRONG
Educationally Yours,
Principal McDonald
