Current 8th grade students have just begun the registration process with our high school counselors. Registration activities are taking place in 8th grade history classes this week. Students not currently enrolled in a history class will be scheduled individually with counselors by appointment. • Friday, 2/25: End of 2nd Trimester
• Monday, 2/28: No School (District PD Day)

To celebrate the end of our 2nd trimester, we will be having a spirit week for students and staff. All dress code guidelines apply to school appropriate clothing. You can find our dress code here.

Tuesday, 2/22:

• Twin Day (Because great things come in 2's on 2/22/22!)

Wednesday, 2/23:

• 80's Day (Neon colors)

Thursday, 2/24:

• 90's Day (Flannels, baggy jeans, and concert t-shirts)

Friday, 2/25:

• My Future's So Bright (Dress like your future self: business suit, doctor's scrubs, sports uniform, etc.)

As we approach our 3rd Trimester, it is time to begin planning for the 2022-2023 school year. One important component to that planning is reviewing and revising our student handbook. The handbook provides a framework for students and families to reference throughout the school year for things like daily procedures, dress code, and discipline guidelines. We would love to have some parent input in helping us review our handbook for next year. If you are interested in participating, please email Mr. Dempsey at tdempsey@mvr3.k12.mo.us. A meeting schedule will be sent out as soon as the committee has been assembled.

Congratulations to Mrs. Emily Puls for being selected as the Riverbend Teacher Of The Year. Mrs. Puls leads our visual arts program and does some amazing things fostering the talents of our students.

Mrs. Debbie Hampton was also nominated as the Riverbend Support Staff Member Of The Year. "Miss Debbie" can be seen throughout the day helping to keep our school clean and safe for our students.
