We Are In This Together!!!
It is all about teamwork! I want to thank you for doing your part outside of school and keeping your children safe and as healthy as possible. Thank you for keeping your child(ren) home when they are feeling ill or you know there has been possible exposure to Covid. We couldn't do this without you!
Our staff and students continue to impress me on a daily basis as they follow the safety protocols we have in place with distancing, masks, surface cleaning, seating charts, assigned supplies, and more.
I want to THANK all of the families, Topeka Sav-A-Lot and Pine Hills Church for donating masks to North Side this past month. Your generosity has not gone unnoticed!

FROM THE OFFICE OF MR. PERLICH, DEAN OF STUDENTS
Attendance:
We encourage families to take advantage of breakfast at school. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. If your child is a car rider or walker, please get them to school as close to 7:30 as possible so they have plenty of time to eat and can make it to class on time. On Mondays, breakfast starts at 8:15 a.m. All car riders MUST be dropped off at Door 3, please do not drop them off at Door 1 due to safety concerns.
Please continue to communicate with the school on your child(ren's) illnesses and symptoms. We are here to work with you! You may report absences at any hour through our voice message system, call (260) 347-1354. We ask that you try to schedule appointments and vacations outside of school days and hours if possible.
Please remember that if your child(ren) are out on quarantine, they will receive their school assignment through Seesaw (K-4) or Canvas (5th). This school work does need to be completed so that they do not receive zeros or F's. If they are ill during the quarantine, teachers will work with you on length of time to complete the assignments. Please keep open communication with the teacher.
Safety:
We have held many successful fire drills, each teacher has walked through a tornado drill with their class, we have practiced a shelter in place and will have a lockdown soon.
If you have any questions about fire drills, tornado drills, lock downs or anything pertaining to safety, please contact the school and ask to speak with Mr. Perlich.
This year, the school building is locked. Please remember to call the school before coming to the building. We can come outside to pick something up or bring something to you if you schedule it with us. Thank you for understanding and continuing to work with us!
