Hello Rockets!

I hope you were able to rest and recharge after our first week of experiencing a full course schedule for this school year. Throughout last week, I was able to make a few rounds to watch some of our fall sports teams practice. I look forward to seeing their preparation put on display as we kickoff competition season this week!

As you read through this newsletter, you will find important information and any highlights centered around our athletic programs at RPMS. Many of the icons will provide direct links for quick access, just click and it will take you to the destination. Newsletters will be released each Sunday with the latest information. All sports schedules for RPMS Athletics can be found on the RPMS Athletics website or by scanning the QR Code above. The QR code will direct users to the athletic schedules powered by BigTeams. If you are looking to subscribe to a team's sports schedule, please select the Get Alerts tab. This will require you to register an account at no-cost. Once registered, users can directly link team schedules to their personal device calendars, Google Calendar, etc.

Parents and student-athletes, a grade report will be collected and submitted for those currently competing in athletics each Monday morning. Students must be passing a minimum of five academic classes in the current quarter up to and/or within seven days of the contest. Coaches will be notified of any student-athlete who is currently under a C- in any class. Academic progress will be monitored by the Athletic Director, please ensure that you are competing in the classroom and on the playing surface.

Per MHSAA policies, a physical examination must be completed on or after April 15, 2023 to be considered a valid physical for 2023-2024.

Please note that your student’s annual physical/medical history form (all pages) will need to be uploaded to Final Forms. For 6th-grade families, sports physicals SHOULD NOT be delivered to the Intermediate building.

The RPMS Athletic Department partners with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service that allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. FinalForms saves data from season to season and year to year, meaning you will never need to enter the same information twice!

We are asking that ALL parents of athletes use FinalForms. Please make sure you’re signed up (click the icon above) to receive preseason, tryout, and practice information.
