As summer winds down and you begin to wonder who you will be teaching next year, consider the following:

1. RELATIONSHIPS are KEY to overcome bad behaviors; most stem from trauma.
2. Next time you experience a bad behavior from students/parents/co-workers, instead of thinking or saying, "What's wrong with you?"; think/say "What happened to you?".
3. We all have a story. What if you could be the "hero" in someone's story that changed the trajectory/outcome for the better?

One of the biggest hang-ups for students when reading or taking assessments is not knowing what a word means which forces the student to "gamble", unsure of their "bet".
