Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!
I hope all of our families have had a great summer. The weather didn't quite cooperate with us all summer, but any time spent as a family is precious. We have a lot of exciting things to look forward to this year. My family spent some time paddle boarding, hiking, and playing soccer.
We welcome two new staff members, Mr. Dave Preston to our Fourth grade team and Miss Ari Joskow as our new Music teacher. They are both very excited to start the year and see the students!
If you haven't had a chance to check out our new Little Free LIbrary, pull through our kiss n go lane and grab all you would like for your students. Don't forget to register all returning students before August 14th! During that registration you will be asked to complete an online Free/Reduced lunch form. This form is critical for our Title I funding. Title I funding allows us to purchase materials and programs for all students.
Don't miss our Back to School Bash on Tuesday, August 22nd 5:00-6:30!
We are here to assist you all through the year, if you have any questions, please call the office, (307) 587-4271. Mrs. Gallagher and Mrs. Schwab will be in the office from here on out, our hours are 7:30-4pm.
-Mrs. Lewis

If we are unable to reach you, it will be necessary to call the emergency names listed on your child’s information sheet.
Arrival
ARRIVING EARLY-STAYING LATE (STUDENTS):
Time before and after school is used by teachers to plan and prepare lessons and materials. Because teachers are unavailable to supervise them, we cannot allow students to play outside prior to 7:45 a.m. or after 3:15 p.m. Normal arrival time is 7:50 a.m., when supervision is available.
Transportation-Bus/Pick up
Bus Information-
If your student requires transportation call our bus barn at 587-2851. The attached link shows our bus routes. https://www.park6.org/documents/departments/transportation/2022-2023-bus-routes/366663
Car Riders Kiss and Go-Drop Off in the Mornings-
Parents may drop off in the mornings from 7:45-8:10am. Students may enter the building if they are eating breakfast. If students are not eating breakfast at school, they may follow the sidewalk to the playground with teacher supervision available.
Car Riders Kiss and Go-Afternoon Dismissal-
Students who are using our Kiss and Go may be picked up along the curb. You will stay in your vehicle and follow the other cars, pulling up to the curb in the next available spot. A staff member will then put your student in the vehicle. Please write your students name on a sheet of paper and display this in the upper right hand corner of your dashboard, this will help with the flow of Kiss and Go.
School Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Livingston families, as account holders you can use LINQ Connect for on demand access to your student's school account. This link is located below for easy access. If you created one last year, this will be the same login information.
With this secure meal account, you can easily make meal payments, link student accounts, access menus, track purchases and more!
Also, please make sure to fill out our FREE AND REDUCED meal application. Even if your children don’t eat school lunch, there might be other benefits to qualifying for free or reduced-price meals. We have the link below to fill out the form, or you may get a copy from the office.
The amount of funding schools get from the federal government, the state, and the district can depend on how many of their students qualify for the subsidized meals. The forms are used to measure assistance, which may qualify schools to receive more resources for students.
New Teacher Announcement!
We would like to introduce Ms. Joskow, and Mr. Preston. Welcome to our Livingston Family!

Note From our Nurse
Vision and hearing screenings are scheduled on Thursday, August 31st. Screenings are done annually to help identify issues that may impact your child's classroom experience. Parents/guardians will be notified if your child does not pass the screening. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's hearing or vision, contact the school nurse.
Please contact Mrs. Lambert if your child requires medication during the school day. I am available to explain medication procedures and ensure proper authorization forms are completed.
