I realize the days ahead are completely unfamiliar territory. I am incredibly grateful for each member of our Wolf pack. Your leadership and the way you are sharing hope, encouragement, and love for each of our families is evident. Thank you again for calling our families. In an attempt to not email EVERYTHING...we have a support page. This is just for our staff and is a place where you can ask questions and we will type our answer. Hopefully, this is where we can keep info as I'm sure you have a lot of the same questions

I would like the read aloud at 9am each day, so that parents can consistently and routinely have that in their head. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear!! AJ made us a graphic and we've got this week covered.

If you signed up/want to read and have your "office hours" at that time, just let the parents know in your daily email you'll have a 15-minute window where you'll be reading a book. This is a great chance for our FASE, Specials, and even paras stay connected with our Wolves as well!

Please use the following campus template to enter your online learning lessons for the week. We decided to do our planning doc with a tab for each grade level to help with seeing the big picture by grade. There are tabs for special areas to add their plans as well. Please know this is a working document. We can adjust as necessary to make it work for your team.

Also, please remember day one and two are SIMPLE!! Simple response - relationship based is great! These first two days we are just trying to have the students (and parents) get used to viewing the videos and responding online. Remember--our parents will make their decision about how they feel about online learning in the FIRST TWO DAYS! It is important to make it enjoyable AND purposeful. It will be communicated to parents that we will ramp up instruction as the days go on. We will not hit them all at once with everything. Start slow and build.

Be sure to consider families have limited supplies at home, so be sure you consider this when planning. We WILL NOT be allowing families to retrieve supplies from the school. If there is a specific situation, please reach out to me.

One detail shared today - a video from you may not always be necessary. Your students need to see and hear from you, so use this method as much as possible. If you are introducing new learning - a video is a must. If you are providing a review or reinforcement activity - you may not have a video lesson from you on that day for that subject. Whew!

Specials will not have a google classroom. Rather, Kelly and Kyle are going to paste activities on the lesson plan doc for each day for both K-2 and 3-4. The activity may be art, music, or pe. Art lessons are being created by the district art teachers.

***Please make sure MP and I are part of your Google classrooms and your Google Meets. This is a district request. We will be "popping in" on occasion to say hi to everyone and see where we can help. You can add us a co-teachers in your Google classroom.

Just a few reminders -

• You need to enter your hour for the morning and hour for the afternoon on the planning doc. If you need to adjust to better meet your kids needs, please do so. 3rd/4th grade teams - please don't overlap your times with your partner teacher.
• It is fine if your little one pops into the meets times - parents will know you are juggling both parenting, homeschooling, and teaching. They will understand.
• Make sure to keep this time academic. If a parent tries to bring up personal concerns, please encourage them to email you or set up a later time to address their concerns. If it is campus/district concerns - please have them email me.

Where do you record this info to share with us? Look at the Online Lesson Plan Document (see above section for link). Find the tab at the bottom that says "LIVE" and record your times there.

We are being asked to set aside specific times for building access. I DO NOT want to not make accessing your materials an extra stress for you. While the following will be our attempted hours set aside for building access, please know you will not be locked out. Please ALWAYS park in the front and use the front doors! We don't want anyone causing the alarms to alert maintenance and the police.

Tuesdays from 3-5 and Fridays from 8-10 (just a starting place - may be adjusted as necessary)(aligns with the district cleaning schedule!)

If you need to go to school any other time, shoot me a text me first. This way I can track what we might need moving forward in addition to police/neighborhood calls. We can revisit this if we need to.
