Dear E.O. Green Parents and Students,

We are in the last week for Quarter 2. Ensure that your student completes all class assignments and exams. They must submit everything this week for it to count for the grade mark! Teachers are grading and will submit grade-marks next Monday.

Parents and guardians, please participate in the monthly parent engagement workshop/meetings opportunities provided to you by our wonderful counselors. See the flyer below.

Families and students, you're invited to participate in the Kindness week on January 25-29, 2021. The Great Kindness Challenge is listed below. It is a fun activity for all family members.

Friendly reminder that you need to communicate with the office if your child is absent from class. Please remember that attendance counts every day. We are implementing the SARB expectations and want to prevent you and your students from experiencing SARB consequences. Let us know if you need support to get your student to access the virtual class.

This week, we distribute the science kits to students with Dr. Romero and Dr. Stevens for Quarter 3 on Saturday, January 30th, from 10:00am -1:00pm. If you're not able to make it on these days, we are open daily 9-1:00 pm this week for distribution. The teacher notified your student about their date and time of kit distribution.

Friendly reminder that we monitor all school devices. Please ensure that your student uses the Chromebook for educational purposes.

FEBRUARY 28th is the deadline for transfer requests.

Future Trio Students,

Are you interested in joining TRIO? TRIO is a program offered at EO Green to help support students through their education. Students will receive important information about high school and college with consistent guidance over the years. If you are interested in TRIO, please fill out the form as soon as possible. Students already enrolled in TRIO don't need to fill out an application.

Report Cards will be sent out on February 5th. Please check Parent or Student Connect before the end of the grading period to make sure there are no surprises.

Every 8th-grade student will participate in a live virtual career pathway ZOOM meeting to obtain information about the programs available to them at the high school. Our 8th graders will have the opportunity to listen and ask questions about the pathways by visiting multiple career presentations offered in various breakout Zoom-Rooms.
