Annoucements & Updates

- If you have not done so already, please review the communication from Mrs. Toth regarding Parent/Teacher conferences, emailed on October 11.


- Girl Scout troop 97604 is collecting coats, hats, gloves, and scarfs through October 27. Drop off your items at the Mountain View main entrance.


- All Winter sports physicals (Basketball, Non-competitive Cheer) and related paperwork are due by Friday, October 28 to be cleared by Dr. Porter on November 7. Please refer to the Student Athlete Information page for instructions and links to all forms. Tryouts are scheduled to begin the week of November 14.


- New to Mountain View sports? Please click here to review the Athletic Code of Conduct, pay-to-play fees, and more. Note that students will also attend an interest meeting with their respective coach where specific information regarding practices and other expectations will be shared.

Happy Friday Mountain View! We are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week next week! Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and drug prevention awareness campaign that helps to inspire students to make healthy decisions for their bodies and for their futures. Red Ribbon Week began as a tribute to fallen DEA special agent Enrique Camerena and is now recognized in schools throughout the United States in the month of October. At Mountain View, we will honor Red Ribbon Week by having a Spirit Week, a Door Decorating Contest, and a special Advisory lesson with the help of Officer Behre! I can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and to see everyone's decorated doors! Have a great weekend.
