Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
I hope you have all had a quick week and are looking forward to another three day weekend. It has been a busy week for CIF sports this week. We didn’t win all of our contests but I am always proud of the way that our student athletes compete and the way our supporters cheer for our team with class. Congratulations to all of our winter sports teams on a successful season and good luck to the programs who are still competing. This is a big weekend for boys soccer and boys and girls wrestling. Good luck!
One of the pleasures of working at Steele Canyon is the beauty that our campus often produces. Friday night sunsets on a Fall Friday night at Cougar Stadium are a favorite of mine. I would like to thank teacher and basketball coach Christian Brodt for snapping this Saturday morning sunrise rainbow. One of the many reasons I am proud to be a Cougar.
Have an awesome weekend!

It is a series of three workshops where a team of knowledgeable staff members and counselors will walk you through the enrollment process step-by-step.
In order for you to participate in Griffin-Coyote Connection, you must sign up for ALL THREE workshops in Naviance in the College Visits section. If ALL THREE connection workshops are completed, you will be eligible to receive priority registration for the Fall 2024 semester at both Cuyamaca and Grossmont Colleges. Sweetheart Fundraiser
Save the Planet Club is hosting a Sweetheart Fundraiser to raise money for the dogs at Open Arms Rescue. Specifically, our club met Lumi and Charlie, both of whom need long-term fosters and will require medical care for the rest of their lives. Lumi was given methamphetamine by a teenager and, due to a 5-day delay in receiving medical attention, has permanent neurological damage and severe tremors. Charlie was shot with a bb gun and the bullet is lodged in his spinal chord so he is incontinent and suffers many other complications. Both dogs are cared for at Open Arms Rescue.
On Wednesday, February 21 our club will be selling baked goods, Lumi and Charlie friendship bracelets, and Lumi and Charlie clay animal keychains in front of the school from 8:00 AM- 9:45 AM.
