Band Concert: The Elementary Band will be having their concert today Sunday, December 19 at 3 PM in the High School Gym. Students will need to report to the band room at 2 PM.

School IN Session Monday: We do have school tomorrow! It is Christmas Concert day so students who have signed up for Christmas Makeovers will get to be pampered! Please remember if your child has signed up for makeovers, they must be nit and lice free to have their hair cut and/or styled.

12 Days Until Christmas Break: This week's 12 Days Until Christmas Break spirit days are:

Monday- Elf and Seek: Makeover day!

Tuesday- Twas' the Night Before Christmas Break: Wear pajamas!

Christmas Music Concert Attendance is Expected: We will be having our Christmas Music Concerts on Monday, December 20, 2021 in the High School Gym. We expect all students to be in attendance at this concert! The kindergarten through 2nd grade students' performance will begin at 6 PM. Students will need to arrive to their classrooms at 5:40 PM. The 3rd-6th grade students' performance will begin at 7 PM and they should arrive to their classrooms at 6:40 PM.

Transportation Changes: We understand plans can change throughout the day. If transportation plans change for your child, please call the office to let Whitney know so she can ensure your child gets the message. Some parents have been messaging teachers on Dojo and there are days teachers do not see their messages until after students have left for the day. We would hate to miss an important message! Absences: If your child is going to be absent from school, we need you to call the Elementary office to let us know. If you call before anyone is at school, please leave a voicemail letting us know your child's name and reason for absence. The office phone number is 417-723-5300 ext. 1301.

Volunteer Training: If you are wanting to be a volunteer in our school on a regular basis, mark your caledars for Friday, December 17 for our training! This will be at 9 AM in our Elementary Data Room. This training should take less than an hour. Please call the elementary office at 417-723-5300 ext. 1301 to RSVP for the training.

Christmas Parties: Class Christmas parties have been scheduled for Tuesday, December 21! AM Preschool Sessions will be held 10:30 AM-11:30 AM. All other classes and the PM Preschool Sessions will be held from 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. Assuming COVID cases stay minimal, we will be allowing parents to attend the class Christmas parties to help out with games, foods and/or crafts! If you would like to help, please let your child's teacher know so they can let you know what they need help with for their party.

Teachers' Favorite Things: Many of you have asked about a document sharing the favorite things of our staff members. You can find a spreadsheet of this here. I will be adding staff members' responses as they respond so check back if the staff member you are looking for is not listed!

COVID Testing: Did you know if your child as COVID symptoms you can arrange to have Nurse Tena administer a rapid COVID test for free? We ask that you call the office to arrange a time with Nurse Tena to bring your child in for testing. She will have the results within 15 minutes. Please know we will NOT test your child without your consent!
