Dear Hill-Roberts Families,

There are a few events which sybolize the school year is coming to a close: budding flowers, April Vacation, the completion of MCAS. Well, we're checking boxes. While we do have some make-up tests left for a few of our third and fourth-graders, seeing this ritual come and go is a meaningful one!

Finally, the PTO went out of its way to recognize our staff this week for Staff Appreciation. Please know how thankful staff is for having such a supportive community.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers and mothers at heart!

2023-2024 Fee for Service Information:

APS will offer bus service on a Fee for Service basis for the 2023-2024 school year. Registration opens on Monday, May 8, 2023, and closes on July 31, 2023. Dear Hill-Roberts Families,

Students in kindergarten through fourth grade have been working hard to showcase their artwork in the school art show! Each student will have a piece of artwork displayed for classmates and families to view.

The original date of Tuesday, May 16th has now been changed to Thursday, May 18th to accommodate the art show and band concert taking place at Coelho Middle School. The first session of the show will take place at 6 pm for kindergarten and first grade students and families. The second session will take place at 7 pm for second, third, and fourth grade students and families. Families with siblings may choose either time to attend.

Volunteers will be needed to help set up after school around 3:30. If you would like to sign up to volunteer, email Mrs. DeBor using the email in the flyer below.

The book fair will also be open for students and families to browse and make purchases!

The Someone Special Dance last Saturday was a blast! Thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated to make this night a success. We hope everyone had a great time. If you have photos to share, please send them to hillrobertspto@gmail.com or post on our Facebook page.

The Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair will open for shopping on Monday 5/15. Volunteers are still needed for most shifts; if you can come for even an hour or two and help our students "dive into reading", please sign up at http://tiny.cc/BOGO23. Please note if we don’t have enough volunteers for some sessions we may not be able to open, which would be unfortunate for some students but we can’t do it alone! Thanks in advance for any time you can offer.

We are so excited for Mrs. DeBor’s art show on Thursday 5/18. While you are here to view your children’s masterpieces, the book fair will be open for family shopping.
