Technology
Resources for Supporting Healthy Tech Use
There are many resources out there to help parents create healthy habits for their children when it comes to tech use. In December and January, I shared CommonSense Media and ConnectSafely.
The third resource that is really valuable in terms of the latest research and guides for supporting health technology use at home is the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI). This site provides updated parent resources for many topics including screentime, social media, gaming, and cyberbullying. If you join their mailing list, you will receive regular updates as well.Feedback on the Cambrian Website Needed We are always interested in improving communication with our families. Do you have a pet peeve or annoying issue regarding your school’s website or the district’s website that you would like to share? Now is your chance! Please take a moment and share with us what you find useful and not-so-useful about our website by filling out this form. Thank you!
