What is clutter?
Clutter was a mailbox management feature of Office 365. It analyzed how you processed your email and then moves an "unimportant" or low-priority email from your Inbox into a special folder. Unfortunately, Clutter will be retiring and transitioning to "Focused Inbox".
How To Turn Off Clutter in Outlook 2016
Step 1: Manage Clutter
- In desktop Outlook, right-click on the Clutter folder and choose "Manage Clutter"
Step 2: Log into Office 365
- A browser window will now open, prompting you to login into Office 365 with your district email and password
- After logging in, you will be taken to the Clutter settings page
Step 3: Change Settings
- Uncheck "Separate items identified as clutter"
- Click the Save button at the top
How to Turn Off Clutter in Office 365
Step 1: Log into Office 365 (Outlook)
- Open Outlook in Office 365
Step 2: Clutter Settings Page
- Go to Settings by clicking on the Gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen
- Search for "Clutter" and select the option when it appears
Step 3: Change Settings
- Uncheck "Separate items identified as clutter"
- Click the Save button at the top
